It's that one thing that everyone knows... but no one is saying.
It's the pink elephant in the room.
I experienced this pink elephant in a huge way over this last Christmas. We all knew a huge secret that wasn't really a secret at all.
We knew something major was going to happen soon. And, it did.
It was strange. Even though we knew sadness was coming, the amount of love and family together on that day ended up becoming one of my favorite Christmas memories.
I'm curious to know of any pink elephants you've had to deal with before. Of course, if they're sad, maybe you should, instead, think of something about that pink elephant that made everything happy again.
Because, really, the pink elephant is never to blame. He's so adorable and is only ever in a room in hopes of partying with some cool people and making new friends. :)
No pink elephant is worth losing someone you love.
We had a pink Christmas elephant, too! I think that last sentence pretty much sums up how it was dealt with. Secrets that aren't secret don't stay that way for long, and when everyone knows that everyone knows.. the elephant can start enjoying the party ;) Those are adorable earrings, by the way.
